My interview with Josh from Audio Works.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Josh from Audio Works. Josh runs the Audio Works rehearsal studio and podcast. We discussed the recording of my new album 'Me, My Ukulele & I'. If you at all interested in recording then give it a little listen. Ukulele's are not that easy to record and we discuss the whole process from beginning to end. We also discuss the whole process from the initial idea of doing the album, right through to its release. I also did a quick session at the end of the interview and played a live version of the ragtime piece called 'Fallin Coconuts'. . #memyukuleleI #album #ukulele #CD #AudioWorks #JoshAstrop #PaulMansell

Vikki got a distinction in Grade 1 Classical Guitar and Anne got a distinction in Grade 3 ukulele. They were both very deserved and if I was a betting man I would have put money on them both getting a distinction. Taking exams on musical instruments can be a tough journey but very very rewarding. I always say to my pupils that scales and arpeggios should be seen as an easy way to pick up full marks. This is exactly what Vikki did. OK to be fair its not 'easy' to get 100 % on your scales, but if you work at them, like both Vikki and Anne did, then there is not reason why you can't get
