I had the pleasure of featuring in this months wonderful Uke Magazine. It is a fabulous magazine that comes out four times a year and is dedicated solely to playing the Ukulele. It is available in shops or direct from their website at www.worldofukes.co.uk
In the issue I give a lesson on how to play Flameco on the ukulele. It is not an area that has been explored that much. I wrote a piece called Spanish Dance especially for the magazine and there is a video and accompanying notes to help you learn the piece. Its a fun and lively piece that demonstrates just how versatile the ukulele is. For anyone who is into ukuleles I highly recommend the magazine. There are some great interviews and other articles such as playing classical music on the ukuele.
