I have just finished arranging this lovely classical piece that was originally written by Matteo Carcassi for classical guitar. Currently I am busy writing the follow up to my 'Ukulele School' book but after that hopefully I'll be doing a follow up to my debut book 'Classical Uke'. I really pleased with how this one turned out so may well include it in the follow up but for the moment I have enclosed a free Jpeg of the arrangement for you. You can download a pdf of the arrangement for free here

I play it on a high G ukulele but this would work equally well on a low G - just play the tab exactly the same. Its quite a fast piece but should not pose too many issues. The second bar has a hammer on from E to F sharp - so start by forming an A chord with your left hand
fingers. Try and get the hammer on as clean as possible. The timing is a little tricky to begin with - in Bar 2 the first 4 notes as twice as quick (semi quavers) as the last two notes (which are quavers) so be careful with your timing.
Try and form chords at the beginning of bars where possible. The hardest bars are bars 27 and 30. If you form a D chord with finger 2, 1 and 3 and then use the pinky finger to do the hammer on from A to B. Also try and ensure that you use 3 fingers on your right hand to make it as fluid as possible.
If anyone posts a video of it please let me know as I would love to see how you get on with it. Best of luck !
