On Friday 2nd October 2026 I will be performing a solo recital at St Andrews Church in Brigstock, Northampton. I have recently been performing in Czech Republic and Italy as well as numerous places across the UK so to be able to do a gig in my home county is very exciting. I'm excited to announce I will be appearing as a special guest for 4 dates in Germany on Anne Clarks 'Edge of Silence' tour. Anne is a poet, spoken word artist, singer and songwriter. Her music is often backed by electronic music, but later she began working with an acoustic band. Her first album, The Sitting Room, was released in 1982, and she has released over a dozen albums since then. I'll be appearing in both Hamburg and Berlin. See you in 2027 Germany !!

I am incredibly excited to be appearing at the Bavarian Ukulele Retreat in 2027. It is being run by the incredible Elisabeth Pfeiffer and I will be co hosting the event. Elisabeth and I worked together as co tutors recently at the Czech Ukulele retreat - and we enjoyed it so much we have decided to work together again. I have been teaching the ukulele for over 10 years and one question I get asked all the time is - 'Is the ukulele hard to learn'. The short answer is No — the ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to start playing. The ukulele is one of the best instruments to learn if you want very quick rewards and to be playing songs within minutes. Like every instrument though, you need to practice and you can take it to whatever level you want. But let’s break that down honestly.

In 2024 I collaborated with world renowned ukulele builder Pete Howlett and together we released the Paul Mansell Student Tenor Ukulele. I am very excited to announce that Pete has now teamed up with guitar/ukulele builder Dan Lipson of Lipson Ukulele's and together we are releasing the Howlett/Lipson Paul Mansell Baritone Ukulele.
