One of my classical guitar students from Northampton lent me this lovely Cordoba Mini II Travel Guitar last week. I posted a picture of it on Twitter and then had a load of people saying 'ooo that's nice can we hear it being played'. So here it is. I am playing a lovely piece called 'Sons De Carillhoes' which is in Drop D tuning (ie the lowest string, normally tuned to an E , is lowered to be tuned to a D). The title means 'Sounds of bells' which is lovely.
I must say its a lovely guitar. What I like about it is that although it is a travel guitar and very compact, it still feels like a normal sized guitar. The neck is nice and wide and the whole guitar feels well balanced.
