There is a great campaign at the moment which is all about helping students and teachers to learn musical instruments during the lockdown. As children and young people across the UK prepare to return to school, we must ensure that music is at the heart of their education. Whilst there is more work to be done to lobby Government and continue to highlight the challenges the music education sector is facing, we also need clear statements and practical ideas demonstrating why music education is important. The campaign is called #candomusic
