I'm now an ambassador for The Ukulele Project

I am delighted to have been asked to become an ambassador for the not for profit organization 'The Ukulele Project'.

The Ukulele Project uses ukuleles to bring people together, combat loneliness and promote wellbeing. They build communities and work with your school or community groups to support people in offering fun and engaging ukulele classes, workshops, projects and ideas on how to use the ukulele to connect with your community. They have already donated over 500 ukuleles to people who are lonely or in need of support.

I first became involved with Tara at The Ukulele Project about 2 years ago when I offered to help her compile the book 'First Ukulele Pieces' to raise funds for The Ukulele Project. Together, Tara and I put together a book with over 30 amazing pieces of ukulele music, all written by the top players in the world. It is an amazing book - and if you purchase one not only do you get an amazing book but you are also helping to combat loneliness through the use of ukuleles. The book features pieces by James Hill, Tony Mizen, Sam Muir, Paul Mansell, Phil Dolman, Matt Stead and many many other world class composers. You can purchase the book here :

Tara is always working on fabulous ideas to help promote mental wellbeing through the use of The Ukulele. We have some exciting projects coming up and I am truly honored to have been asked to be an ambassador for a project I really believe in. Stay tuned for an announcement soon about a very exciting project we are working on.
